In the UK, the Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR, or Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) is a route for doctors who have earned their medical qualifications outside the UK or EU, or who have trained in the UK but do not meet the standard criteria for direct entry to the Specialist Register.
